Welcome to the Distal Radius Acute Fracture Fixation Trial 2 website.

DRAFFT2 is a multicentre randomised clinical trial sponsored by the University of Oxford. The trial's primary objective is to quantify and draw inferences on observed differences in wrist function between surgical fixation of dorsally displaced distal radius fracture with K-wires versus plaster casting in the first year after the injury.

The trial is funded by the Health Technology Assessment - National Institute of Health Research
